Coping with Bereavement and Grief

No one prepares us for the shock and emotional fallout following the death of someone or the end of something significant. Sock and disbelief, numbness, depression, anger, feeling lost about what to do, there are so many possible responses that people feel as if on emotional rollercoaster.

If you have lost someone or something significant, together, we can process the stages of grief, and loss and what you are going through. Bereavement Counselling can support you in processing the variety of emotions that will surface while you go through the grieving process and adjust to the new existence without the person you loved or while adjusting to the loss of a relationship.

Grief is a natural response to loss and is a deeply personal experience. It is an emotional, physical, and psychological reaction to the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, a home, or any other significant aspect of life. Grief can manifest in many ways, and it can be overwhelming and debilitating . Grief can also be accompanied by a range of symptoms such as sadness, anger, guilt, anxiety, and depression.

As a therapist, I have helped a big number of people navigate the process of grief and loss. I understand how

overwhelming and debilitating grief can be and I provide the secure, safe and supportive environment for my clients to process and heal from their grief.
