In my work with the clients, I support them to focus on preventing and remediating personal problems that they experience in their personal, social, and work lives. My work centres on helping clients use their strengths; their pillars, to find solutions to problems, engage in personal development, and manage relationships, stress and anxiety, loss, sleep problems, work-related stress, feeling down and alone, unable to manage long-term problems and illness . I also provide interventions for anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, midlife and life transitions, and other challenges.
My therapeutic style incorporates principles and practices from mainly four psychotherapeutic approaches: Humanistic, Person-centred, Solution-focused, and Integrative. Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and the Stoics (Socratic Dialogue and Socratic Visualisation) also influence my work with clients.
I also help employees in the financial sector manage the circumstances—such as work-related stress, relationships, conflicts, long work hours and excessive demands—that can have a detrimental impact on their physical and psychological health. I provide a safe and supportive space where clients’ individuality is respected, and I use a tailor-made approach to help them reach awareness and resolution.
I specialize in helping people recover from and manage mental health issues and life challenges.
